I'd never heard of this until now (needs must, etc) but it looks very interesting indeed. My current project is an in-house web based CRM and booking system and there's a good chance this'll come in useful when we look at offline support (we're a distributed company, no central office).

I've actually never heard of it, until now. But quickly scanning through it makes it seem really promising! It sounds like LocalForage will simplify a lot of things like client side databases, optimistic UI and offline applications. I might actually give it a try!

Interested if anybody is already using it.
