I use Sublime too, but the version 3.
What i really like about it is
- Many packages from the community
- linter support for as good as every language
- different color shemes and styles
- you can change almost everything like font size, font family, and much more
- you can search for a text string in a folder structure
- all the shortcuts on the keyboard, like select everything like this, reindent, ...
Negative aspects in my opinion are :
- the configuration takes almost a day so that it is like you want it to be
- you need many different packages which will be messy from time to time
- I have been using it for last 3 years now and version 3 is still under development
Other editors I have tested are eclipse (which is very slow in my opinion), atom (didn't have a german keyboard support), vim (i use it mostly when i work in consoles), adobe dreamweaver and brackets (both tools i wouldn't recommend...) and text editors like notepad++
I would choose sublime again if i had to choose.
