But seriously, why learn something you are not interested in enough to at least try and fail in? If people have to give you reasons to even pick up something and try it, then you are going to have a TERRIBLY hard time coming up with reasons to actually learn a programming language. Stick to what you are interested in, and develop those skills, if you are interested in coding, dive in and try it. Start with getting a console application to write the words "Hello World".
