Why would you use Google's Polymer Project?
Google's Polymer Project is now production ready. I see there are many similarities between Polymer and ReactJS. Why would somebody opt for Google's Polymer? What are the main advantages when compared to React?

I think Polymer got popular just for the Material Design Integration. There are many browser compatibility and performance issues even in the latest release.
For devs who want to use ReactJS and still want to use Material Design, go for Material UI framework.
