My answer is no, not because I dislike VS, but because I prefer lightweight text editors like Sublime or Atom to full-blown IDEs. I also like the customizability of Sublime/Atom that you don't tend to get with an IDE. If you are developing PHP and insist on using an IDE, I believe PHPStorm may be a better choice.

Actually VScode is just a text editor, not an IDE like Visual Studio. I find VScode doesn't slow down as files grow much like happens in Atom.

Actually, I do use both Atom, and VSCode ... and VSCode is usually more responsive and lightweight than Atom (from my own experience, on OsX ... might not be similar for other ppl, languages, ...)

Geez read carefully the description Visual studio IDE and Visual Studio Code are different. Visual Studio Code is just a text editor as sublime and Atom. Actually VS Code is very similar to Atom because use Electron. but It is faster in execution.

My mistake. I didn't realize VSCode was just a text editor. Still, I think I'll stick with Sublime.
