Any Alternative for android studio in react-native development?

I am starting a project in RN and as per now I am using android studio as an emulator and AVD and using react-native-cli to build and crrate and run project ( which is totally NOT working) . As the environment setup is not working for me ( did a quite a lot digging to make it work ) so is there any other option for me to work on RN project? My OS preference is ubuntu and windows. For android development only the alternative required( will think for IOS later )
