Getting started as the new guy in Open Source – Cody Brunner – Medium

In the process of learning how to write open source packages I decided to make a package that discusses just that. Now with a better grasp of how things work I will begin writing what would have been my first open source project. I hope this is something other's can find helpful when they decided to jump in on open source!
