How To Deal with Creative Block As  A Developer

Hey!, i am super excited, this is my first write up on Hashnode. i will be detailing how to deal With creative block as a developer .

So first thing first , what is Creative Block?.

Creative Block can be defined as the inability to access one’s internal creativity. As a developer you know how demanding it is to be super creative to solve problem.

its more likely you have been affected by creative block which may last for days, weeks, months, or even years.

Creative Block can affect your work perfomance and well-beign as a developer .

FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATIVE BLOCK?

  1. Stress

Stress is a necessary evil in a software/web developer's Journey , coding consitently without meaningful rest will likely lead to one experiencing a creative block.

  1. Death Of Love One Death is Inevitable they say , the death of someone so dare to our heart can alter creativity, it can make us emotionally down as well as make it very difficult to be creative.

  2. Repeated Rejection of one's work

getting your work rejected consitently can be depressing and degenerate into creative block.

  1. Anxiety regarding the outcome of a project or task when you worry to much on what an outcome of a project will be it most likely to take the best part of you and the resultant effect may be an invitation to alter your creativity.

HOW TO DEAL WITH CREATIVE BLOCK AND BE PRODUCTIVE AS EVER

  1. Meditation Meditation has proven to be one of the best remedy in fighting creative block . Some of the advantages of meditating includes better focus and concentration, improved self-awareness and self-esteem, lower levels of stress and anxiety.
  1. Music Music exerts a powerful influence on human beings. It can boost memory, build task endurance, lighten your mood, reduce anxiety and depression, stave off fatigue, improve your response to pain, and help you work out more effectively. you can try my selected playlist of musics i listen to here
  1. Sleeping Sleeping Reduce stress and improve your mood, make you more relaxed and productive.
  1. Exercise

Research shows that physical activity can also boost self-esteem and make you more productive.
