Intro to data analysis for kids

You are indeed welcome to a new world. A world that will teach you what's relevant today, and will remain so tomorrow. The world is that of data analysis / science. But then what's data analysis / science?

Before definition, let's take some analogy that will help us. If my dad has a company and he needed to know or project the revenue he will get in June right from January, what could he do? Or if we have a law in our house that says nobody comes in without mask. How can we use machine to detect who isn't putting on mask so that he could be restricted from entering with the use of machine?

All these and many more are the core area data analysis and science want to address. You will also notice that I am mixing data analysis and science together. Some times I will also use Analytics instead of analysis. And another time you will see predictive. You will get their differences as we move on if there's any.
