Issue: Opening New Tabs & Sign-in AGAIN??

Dear hashnode, When I start up my web browser (usually Google Chrome) I have had it open directly into a new tab of hashnode. I click on articles and a new tab pops up.

Q. Is this the default behavior? Why can't I just follow that article without getting a new tab.

OR

Q. If I want 'right-click' to open a new tab the site does not KEEP me logged in. ALL new tabs need to go through the sign-on process again?

Q. Is this a Google Chrome setting or is this a Hashnode Issue? I do not have any adblockers on this version of Chrome...

I am so tired of this that I am about to quit. Thank you
