So hello people. I think I have to first introduce myself. My name is Rupam and I am from Kolkata and a Btech student of VIT Vellore. Coding, Competetive Coding ... I am not fond of those domains. I like public problem solving and something creative to do. So here, I am writing my first blog for all of you people to encourage you and give you knowledge about this domain. Let's start...
What is UI-UX designing?
So here comes the first question in your mind. It's a very new domain for many of you and I will now talk about this.
The UI is what the user interacts with, which is the visual representation of a product's interface, the UI designer makes the interface appealing.
The UX is how the user interacts with this interface, the UX design strives to make the user's interaction with the interface smooth, easy, or useful. UX predicts the next step the user should take, how the user should feel when using the product.
UI/UX designers also have careers in hardware manufacturing, from gadgets, cars, shoes, etc. It is all about how to make something appeal to a user by understanding the possible experience of the user, by analytics drawn from how the user would use, should use a product. This is the User experience, Design model.
Steps For UI/UX Product Design or Implementation
Wireframing: This is the first process to illustrate your idea. You have to make your own idea for a problem first or take inspirations from daily used applications and just make a skeletal design of the project. it's not supposed to be complicated, just a sketch of the content, layout, and structure.
Mockup: A mockup is a static, high-fidelity simulation of the finished product that delivers the visual look of the product design—including typography, iconography, color, and overall style. Where a prototype focuses on interaction design, mockups establish how the users will interpret the brand through its visual identity.
Prototyping: prototype is a working model of an app or a webpage. Prototyping allows designers to test the user journey, reflect on how the user might move between different actions or tasks to achieve certain outcomes, and pinpoint any potential issues with interaction flow. It is the early model of the final product, this is where all testing would be done. The prototype ensures that the final delivers what it is intended to.
