Why do people keep thinking FrontEnd = Web Design?
And I'm not saying it's not, I'm just saying It is not exclusively Web Design.
Every time I say I'm a Front End Developer, my colleges think: "Oh Look! He designs interfaces with PhotoShop, and then with HTML/CSS magics he turns it into a website" Often they forget that there is more than UI/UX in the amazing Front End World. Even I had a boss - yes a boss - who thought you don't need to code to be Front End guy, that it's only "pretty things" but the heavy work is for real - Desktop/Backend - programmers.
Why does this keep happening, and how to avoid it?
As always, thank you guys!
