I would also add the importance of diversity in the workplace. I read about this on the website and I also found many essays and examples of research papers on diversity there. I want to try to implement this method in my team. At first glance, it may seem that variety at work or in education is not so important, but a person gets used to everything, and soon it can get very bored, which will subsequently affect your productivity.

I think the best way to increase productivity in your team is giving each of the team members the feeling that what they do matters and that they're responsible for their part of work. Unnecessary meetings are very much counterproductive. IMO, a lot of things can be done over email and that too asynchronously. In these cases meetings are overkill. One should always think if something can be done asynchronously via Slack or email. If not, then schedule a brief call/meeting.

Do not try to be too cheap about laptops, IDEs, developer tools, build servers, etc.
