Hello, I have read through all of the content available in your blog and I would like to give my opinion for the pros and cons of it if you don't mind. (Ignore the whole thing if you desire)

Pros:

The advice were supported with actual examples (Apps and courses name)
Some of the advice were very unique and useful. It shows that you have really gone through the experience of learning and it really helps people not have to go through the struggle to pursue their dream.
I feel that you wrote this blog with the intent of actually helping someone out that are going through what you have been through last time. (also for a little bit of clout right? 😂)

Cons:

Some of the advice were very obvious but I understand it is needed to be written down as some people need to see it too.
Honestly, it is quite hard for a beginner person (like myself) to really understand what are some of the advice you are giving as I haven't really tried super hard in learning. (for example GitHub) So, I feel this will be more useful for people that knows slightly more about development than an average person.

All in all, I feel that it is a great blog that balances in helping both beginner and intermediate developer. Well done! 👍

I started blogging to solidify what I have learned for web development, some tips that I found useful, and post technical blogs in the future like code snippets to share with the community! Because it is always these types of blogs that I find useful and knowledgeable. I wanted to start with something closer to my experience, which resulted in this blog!

As for your question, Specifically, there is two. The first would be learning consistently, just like everything in life you got to keep putting in the effort if you want to truly improve. The second one would be finding your niche. University forces us to find our niche whether we like it or not. But other than that, the rest are great. Keep up the good work!

I think it is partially true that University forces us to find our niche since we learn the subjects planned for us, but as we go through the subjects, it becomes clearer of what we like and don't. In that context, we can still put more effort into the discipline that we are interested in through self-learning. That is why we should not depend 100% on our university.
