NodeJS is not performant. If anything, NodeJS is the perfect example of how money affects decisions in this world. There's literally 200 other technologies that outperform NodeJS. Don't believe me? Look it up here. NodeJS starts at position #212.

NodeJS is alive because it is cost-effective. If money didn't exist in this world, NodeJS would have disappeared already.

That's really something new to me, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with me.

BTW, what is your thoughts on other javascript run-times like Deno and Bun?

Pushkaraj Kulkarni I haven't tested Bun. I have tested Deno really briefly and seems ok, save for a few bugs here and there.

But if you look for Deno in the link I gave you, it performs even worse than NodeJS, despite the claims of Deno stating "we are way faster than NodeJS".
