Really like the framing: a human approves anything that can't easily be undone. One I'd add to the irreversible list is deleting data — even with backups, you can lose everything since the last snapshot.
Thanks, that's a great addition. You're right that a backup only protects you up to the last snapshot, so anything since then is gone for good. Deleting data now goes on our 'always ask a human' list alongside payments and sending messages to customers.
