I relate with your story. In IT you can be fired any time. There is no syndicate to protect you. All you can do is to improve your knowledge and try your luck again. Is very stressful environment. Most companies are becoming toxic recently due to AI. Companies that do not accept AI pretend from developers the same or better productivity like the free open source developers who have no inhibitions producing code with AI. Welcome back. I'm curious how is going. So I have follow you on Twitter. God bless your effort, to keep up in this harsh industry!
Thank you for sharing your experience yuri, these are really great lessons, wonderful to know that you got the job and re-learning stuff! Good luck
it's so nice seeing you again Yuri Lee 🥰. Wishing you all the best, I know you got this!!!
Thank you for sharing your experience. It's exactly what I've been going through.
Imposter syndrome made me stop coding after losing my first job in just 6 months.
I gave up on coding and stopped applying for jobs, but I recently realized that coding is the only way to change my life.
I signed up at Codewars, where I'm re-learning and solving challenges that are helping me to think like a programmer.
I'm excited to see where I'll be in a year. My biggest worry right now is, I dont know how good I need to be and when to start applying for jobs.
I also have this feeling that the rise of AI will change everything, and I might need to start learning something new from scratch.
I appreciate you for sharing your journey. Let's go, Yuri 🫡
Yuri! I’ve had an experience so simile this year and the #1 lesson I learned was to obnoxiously DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. 🤓
