Really interesting perspective on a topic that many teams are starting to face. Multi-agent systems are exciting, but adding more agents does not automatically mean better outcomes. The real value comes from identifying where specialization, coordination, and automation can genuinely improve the workflow.

For small teams especially, simplicity and clarity are often more valuable than building a complex architecture too early. A few well-designed agents with clear responsibilities can be far more effective than a large system with unnecessary overhead.

I think the key question is not “How many agents do we need?” but “What problem are we trying to solve, and does adding another agent make the process better?” Great discussion on finding the right balance.
