Just a question though - what if I need a 0/realtime RPO/RTO for an EBS instance during DR? How can I achieve it - is there an Active-Active setup for EBS instances across regions?
Hey Arun! There's no Active-Active at the EBS level. You can set up EFS with cross-region replication, but it won't work well for an Active-Active configuration. If you can, I'd save the data to Aurora Global or DynamoDB Global Table, with an RPO of 1 second. Anything lower than 1 second will be REALLY hard to do, and probably not worth the effort.
