A small story for you Nainsi
There was a college student named Aarohi.
She loved many things, but nothing meant more to her than her little cat, Kiwi.
Kiwi would sit beside her while she studied, curl up next to her while she slept, and somehow always knew when she was having a bad day.
To Aarohi, Kiwi wasn't just a pet. She was home.
One afternoon, Aarohi came back from college and the front door had been left open.
Kiwi was gone.
She searched the entire neighborhood, put up posters, called her name for days, and cried herself to sleep every night.
But Kiwi never came back.
From that day on, something changed inside her.
She started believing,
"The more you love something, the more it hurts when you lose it."
Months later, her friends suggested,
"Why don't you adopt another cat?"
She would smile and quietly say,
"I still love cats... I just don't think I could survive losing one again."
Now ask yourself...
Is Aarohi a bad person?
No.
Is her fear real?
Absolutely.
But if she spends the rest of her life refusing to love another cat because she's afraid of losing one...
She's not protecting herself from pain.
She's also protecting herself from love.
The fear makes sense.
But if fear becomes the reason you never let anyone in again, it doesn't just keep pain out...
It keeps connection out too.
Understanding someone's fear is important.
But healing doesn't happen by letting fear make every decision.
Sometimes healing begins when you choose to stay, even while you're scared.
Maybe one day, Aarohi will decide to adopt another cat.
Not because she forgot Kiwi...
But because she realizes that sometimes, giving someone a chance can also heal what's already broken.
Waise... ye story kisi cat ke baare mein nahi thi. :)
Kabhi-kabhi kisi ko ek chance dene se sab kuch perfect nahi hota... lekin kuch cheezein fix zaroor ho jaati hain.
no need of fixing , Ik I am perfect shaadup :/
