The distinction between inheritance and polymorphism is really useful to understand early on. Inheritance lets a class reuse or extend another class, while polymorphism means different classes can implement the same method in different ways.

I also think it’s worth being careful not to use inheritance just because it’s available. There should be a clear “is-a” relationship between the classes. Otherwise, composition can sometimes be a cleaner approach.

Once you start working with actual Python projects, these concepts become much easier to see in practice, especially when several objects need to respond to the same method differently.
