Very informative, but I have one question but aren't data still stored on a physical location and accessed by the cloud anywhere?

Any data you have in the cloud are physically stored on a server located at a data centre and this space is physically separate so that others cannot access it. It only belongs to you. And it is made accessible to you via the internet.
