Good start for someone who wants to have a basic idea on how to create your own API using express
Great article for beginners! My only issue is with the Postman part. Don't get me wrong - it works, but it's become this huge, overwhelming tool that beginners might find confusing. Plus there's the whole cloud data storage thing and the latency that comes with it. I actually built a simple Chrome extension called Test API for this exact reason. It's lightweight, everything stays local, and perfect for beginners who just want to test their APIs without getting lost in a sea of features. The only thing missing right now is import/export for collections, but I'm working on that. Sometimes simpler is better, especially when you're learning!
