I don't hate frameworks, I've used tailwind in a lot of my projects because it gets things done quicker. I also like tailwind because it's low level, so the closest to actual CSS, so you get a ton of customisation.
I like to use plain CSS because I get to control the design of a website, which makes it look unique. When you use a framework for a long time, things start to get repetitive. For instance, I've seen the standard Bootstrap navbar in numerous ocassions, which doesn't look great.
Frameworks are great until they start restricting your vision :)
