Appreciate you for sharing your story .
All the best for university :)
I felt into depression and anxiety when I was about to complete my schooling 🏫 . I wasted my 3 years in it and still trying to overcome.
But overthinking let me down back and back. I know it's my tuffest time.
Coding helped me a lot, but sometimes same becomes the reason for my frustration and enxiety.
Thank you! Cris, I'm feeling better after reading your story.
Sorry for my English!
This is a great story and I'm sure it takes courage to write it.
I'm wishing you the best of luck with the university and everything around it.
Keep going strong chris greenwood!
this is a great field, both from a personal perspective and from a social perspective, it has the satisfaction on one side and the heartwarming community on the other side...
Thanks for sharing your story ❤️ It's amazingly brave and I'm so glad you are part of the tech community.
I totally understand you, I have been dealing with depression and anxiety for 15 years now (since 16 years old), the possibility of creating great things by coding kept me alive, it was my happy place and still is.
I guess I'm happy that more people are sharing their stories to help destigmatize the topic. Mental health is important, nothing to be ashamed of, it's something to be proud of.
If you are somebody in tech that is going through s* stuff while reading this, you can and will get better, and you will totally be able to shine your own way in Tech.
Cheers Mate.
Really appreciate you sharing this story. Glad to have you in the tech community :)

If you are experiencing depression, you may want to consider telehealth therapy. This therapy allows you to meet with a therapist via video chat or telephone. Subscription prices for this type of therapy range between $60 and $100 per week but can be lower if you are eligible for financial aid. Subscriptions typically include unlimited message exchanges and one live session a week. You can also use telehealth services like Counseling Now to keep track of your symptoms.
