Any possibility to see hardware setup? After few years working in big corpo I'm not sure if and how stable ESP32 really are. And how much safety and custom-PCB (if even!) are needed around ESPs to make it good choice for even hobby projects and you have industrial-grade one.

we basically use an ESP32S2. For a long time we used the devkit. In our experience the ESP32 are pretty stable. The esp-idf rust code quality is not the best (yet), but the maintainers are pretty responsive.
