Using embeds in release notes as evidence is a good idea, with one catch worth planning for. The share code freezes the example, but the viewer that runs it is whatever NitroIDE is live today. A note showing "the preview now updates without flicker" stays true, but a note about behaviour that a later release changes will quietly start demonstrating the new behaviour under the old date. A version parameter on the embed, if you ever add one, would let changelog embeds stay pinned while tutorial embeds follow the latest. Until then, a short recorded clip next to older release note embeds keeps a record of what actually shipped at the time.
