One thing I've noticed building AI tools is that prototype speed is no longer the bottleneck. The hard part is deciding which constraints, edge cases, and user workflows actually matter before generating thousands of lines of code. AI compresses implementation time, but judgement around scope, maintenance cost, and product fit becomes much more valuable.
