When you list the top databases, what was the criteria used?

select top 5 ProductName from DatabaseVendors
order by InstallationCount

select top 5 ProductName from DatabaseVendors
order by $$$_Earned

select top 5 ProductName from DatabaseVendors
order by WorldWideStorage as "Terabytes"

Thanks and I feel glad that you found this article useful, for databases I have referred survey from stackoverflow, DB engine of 2020. and Google trends reports as well. but It's still not clear which one is ranking higher and better each of them are capable in their respective use cases. for beginners it's essential to know some of the popular databases.
