price gap as a blocking input is the part that got me most. like past a 20% gap the weighted sum tops out at 0.80, so same_item can never fire, and a clean 30% cut just sits in review_required while pricing_action holds. the flat 0.2 for missing prices and the return 0.0 for unavailable items have the same problem, since they treat out of stock as a failed match
