Yeah. It's a break in the common pattern. Facebook made us get used to it where as soon as user logs in, our eye shifts towards the top-right corner of the page instead of top-left which should've been usual behaviour(as per left-to-right reader). It's just a pattern people get used to. Anyway, I'm not the one first one who broke this pattern, Twitter stands first in line :P
