You have mentioned that Big enterprises don't look forward to hire developers from start-ups. If you could please elaborate on that. I currently started working in a startup at the start of my career, and I aspire to work for big companies within 3 years. That's the goal I have set.

Could you point me to section in the article that mentions this? If it does, I would like to correct that. I certainly did not mean that and it is interesting to note that my article could be perceived in the way you did

In this article, I have discussed 2 flavors of start-ups. 1. Bootstrap - things being built completely from ground-up (early stage) 2. Scale - One that has paying customers and looking to grow and what skills are generally suited for each type of start-up. Having said that, there were always people from different segments working in various stages of start-up and have been able to pick up things considerably well.

Now, coming to your question, of moving to a larger organization from start-up. It is definitely possible. In fact, larger organizations are setting up incubation units, that can generate new ideas. Basically, a start-up ecosystem within a larger umbrella.

I truly believe if you have the skills and you are able to convince the company or the client/customer that you can add value to them, you will be able to get into any company larger organization as well as start-up.

Maybe I misunderstood. This section made me think like that. But thanks for clarifying. I got an insight on how to prepare myself for my next job.

Divyajyoti Ukirde - Ok I understood. I'll try to rephrase the sentence and explain a bit more. But having worked in a start-up you can relate to the fact that you are a little that on processes. If you talk to anyone working in a larger company, they generally tend to have a stricter processes.
