hey Yashas , is Java and JavaScript are related since both have quite similar names.

Hey Robin , though the names Java and Javascript may seem similar but they are not related to each other. Java is a Object oriented programming where as Javascript is scripting language used to make web pages interactive, thus making these 2 completely distinct languages.
