I'm a big fan of listening to music while coding. I'm not sure if office-wide music systems are a good or bad thing though: there's the possibility of someone putting on a genre that's distracting for others.
What type of music do you find helps the most? Personally, I tend to go for symphonic metal - at least at the start of the day.
