I never tried Atom because almost got everything in VScode.
I tried using Atom recently and switched back to VSCode after some days for some of the reasons you mentioned in the article.
Me too, atom is sleek but code is just a little more convenient. I use Atom theme and same fonts on vscode and it works like a charm.
