Thanks Lynn. Great article. Did not know I could specify the git repository where I open-sourced the code. I will be applying that to future projects.

Configure the git first, then run npm init. It'll automatically added to the package.json file.

At the end, when you said
"if you set private to be false, then npm will block anyone from publish it"
Did you mean
"if you set private to be true, then npm will block anyone from publish it"

Because that would make more sense.
