That is a great question. Ironically, I woke up this morning thinking about what DevRel for a job would look like.

I know for a fact I tend to glamorize DevRel as 'I get to build cool stuff and tell people about it.' Whereas I think there is some truth in that, I realized this morning, if I am doing it for a job, I am building 'specific cool things' rather than general.
