But I beleive module Federation excels at code sharing and dependency management within a JavaScript ecosystem. If you have multiple React microfrontends, it's excellent. It handles shared libraries (like React itself) efficiently. The challenge arises when mixing frameworks. React components don't directly render into a Svelte component, and vice-versa. You need a way to wrap or containerize these different framework outputs so the host application can manage them.

How it can work: You could, for example: Build each microfrontend (React, Svelte, Vue) separately, each exposing its entry point (e.g., a root component) via Module Federation. In your host application (which could be any framework or even vanilla JS), you'd use dynamic imports to load these exposed components. You would likely need a "container" or "adapter" component in the host to handle the rendering of these different framework components. This container might be a simple div, or it could involve some framework-specific logic.

Key Differences from single-spa: Single-spa is specifically designed to orchestrate different frameworks. It provides a runtime environment and API for mounting and unmounting microfrontends, regardless of their technology. Module Federation is more focused on the build and code-sharing aspects, leaving the runtime orchestration to you.

Best Approach for Mixed Frameworks: If you have a strong need to mix React, Svelte, and Vue, single-spa or a similar orchestration library is generally a better choice. Module Federation can be part of the solution (for code sharing within each microfrontend), but it won't solve the cross-framework integration on its own.
