Mostly I lacked experience! And companies weren't willing to give me a chance (from a business point-of-view it makes completely sense).
I didn't really go past the phone interview (I was working at the time so all of my interviews were by phone) so they were mostly just 'first-contact' interviews
That's when Coletiv came into the game. They looked past my lack of experience within the field (I haven't even done any ReactJS projects by myself) and saw the rest of the experience and potential that I had.
I guess that that ends up showing that it's fundamental to look for companies that care about people and now just about a set of skills
