Interesting. Never knew there was something called Open Science. How open would you consider the open science community compared to the open source community?
In terms of openness, I'd say the open-source community is more open compared to the open-science community. This can be attributed to their exposure, though. Open source is a more common term than open science.
Also, we'd say the open science community comprises more stakeholders.
