Learnt one bitter truth here, 'Understand and accept that you cannot know everything⚠️'
Having a plan and sticking to it is very important, if you have that, no new technology should shift your focus, and always be ready to learn new things but when the time is right. Great article!
Celebrate your wins - even the small ones. I love that cos it helps you realized how far you've come in your journey.
One may not be where they wish to be at the moment. But as long as you they CONSISTENTLY keep pushing forward and make progress, its only a matter of time.
Beautiful piece of writing. Thanks for sharing this.
Not feeding in with the hype is important. I saw that the people now hyping web3 did hype something else just a few months ago using the same language and how it is "the future". Now they act as if they don't remember 😂. Give it a few more months and we have another thing being hyped. Stay true to your path. If a technology will settle, it will still be there when you are done and when you have a solid foundation of knowledge it won't be hard to wrap your head around it then.
Not over-comparing is definitely a good point. Something I also felt is important is that eventually you "learn how to learn" So picking up technologies becomes quicker.
That being said I usually only pick things up I really need to know while working or if there's an interesting side project I want to do.
I know of the existence of third-party libraries but don't get too deep just to avoid overwhelming myself.

Keeping records of your progress also helps in measuring how far you've come. Thanks, Gbemisola!!
