Solid guide. One nit from small-format cards: that 0.125″ safe zone is a floor, not always enough. On photocards I keep 3 mm bleed everywhere, but safety goes to 4 mm on most sizes and 5 mm on postcard (100×150) — faces sit too close to the edge and cutters wander. Separate layers for foil/UV: same lesson. I preview those stacks in a browser workshop for light/depth only, and I won’t call the export press-ready until the shop soft-proofs the real stock. Figma guides plus an honest “this is not a die” label have saved me more reprints than any plugin alone.
