Thanks for the kind words, Tijani! Yeah, this is the most basic way to start doing API test automation from what I can see. It's a great start to already be writing tests for your API endpoints!
I'd challenge you to consider how the user's going to be sending the requests via an API, and mimic user scenarios you'd expect.
Would you be interested in knowing about other API automation topics on here? I could try something on CI/CD using Newman to act as a Part 2 for this, but I'm open to whatever you'd want to read
