The karma-100 gate reading from a daily-refreshed cache is the part I'd push on. You detected both removals within 30 minutes by reading from outside Reddit, but if the gate itself only refreshes once a day, an account that gets flagged or removed mid-morning could still keep posting for the rest of that day on the stale cached karma value, right up until the next refresh runs. Fast detection and a fast gate aren't the same thing unless a detected removal also forces an immediate re-check of that specific account, separate from the daily cycle. From the writeup it sounds like the 7-day pause you applied was community-level, not account-level - did the fast detection ever trigger an account-specific hold the same day, or is that gap still open?
