There are some typos in the paragraph starting with "In the first pass...", it is making confusing.
I am not a security expert, but I would say to make the three pass to be unknown to the messenger and only known by the receiver. How does that sound?
Fixed the typos.
The messanger intercepts the box in the second pass i.e when the messenger is supposed to take the box to the neighbor to get their lock on the box.
Keep in mind that there is only a single messenger and he or she can keep count on the number of trips they make.
One way would be to add signatures of the sender and receiver
P.S I'm new to blogging. Thanks for pointing out the typos.
