Outstanding article, Nonstack. 👏👏👏
A few questions popped into my mind during reading your article.
I hope you can answer some of them.
If I understand correctly, the ideology behind DAO is democracy, everyone is equal.
In real life democracy most people are aware what are they strenghts and weeknesses at least in a basic level.
For example I am not on expert on finance and that is true for the bigget portion of humanity.
To overcome this problem in democracy we elect experts to lead us financially. No matter whether we are shareholders electing a CFO or we are citizens and electing the minister of finance.
If I understand right that is not true in DAOs. As there are discussions before voting, the most influental, most charismatic people's suggestion will win the vote. I am wrong here?
It is to convince the community when you want give 13th month salary, or cut the taxes, but as soon as you have to make some tough financial decision, like firing a people, or increasing tax in order to avoid bankruptcy, then the community won't vote for that in most of the cases.
How DAO's can overcome this problem?
Thanks in advance for your answer.
