Erik Lords I’m not quite familiar with companies offering these job openings, however, some companies incorporate prompt engineering as part of the duties you will be taking on in a position. I know a Technical Writer that works at Google, he prompts PaLM 2 through an internal version of Bard at Google.

So there are two ways to get this position. Find a company that has AI chat prompts, such as Google, get them to hire me for what I currently do, technical writing, and then get them to hire me as a prompt engineer. The other option is to get them to hire me directly for this position.

That means I have to identify which companies have AI chat, who could pay properly for this position, and who is hiring. I am going to brainstorm this with some friends, and then run what we have by you.
