Great read. However: let me strongly disagree with transparency part. Ofc there are projects ( usually small, and not used/important much ) that truly are transparent with their actions, but majority wel-known/used projects treat transparency as a facade, while being antiuser under the hood...... all they do is put user off contributing.

Thats sad, extremely sad what big companies/ego had done to FOSS world.
