That is what I call an awesome article Jinesh. Actually I have read it on my mobile, but it was quite a pleasant experience. 😊 I prefer working for smaller companies (few hundreds max.). How it is like to work at such a huge and famous company as google?

The experience working at these places has bene great. I typically work on distributed systems and the challages that we solve to achive planet level scale are really interesting to me. Do let me know if you wanted to hear about some specific aspect of working at huge companies.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I know google only employ brilliant minds, but I heard that similarly to other dev companies there are many boring tasks which has to be done. I suppose this is not too uplifting for a great professional. What are your experiences about this? Personally, most probably I would never apply to a job with so many interview rounds. Up till know I only wanted to work at 2 companies, had only 2 interviews, and got offer from both of them. I show my expertise and personality on LinkedIn and on my blog. If some company has interest in me we can talk, if not, then we should not waste each other's time. 😊Jinesh Shah

Miklós Szeles Glad to heat that you got the offers from both the companies you were interested in.

About the task, I don't see them as just boring tasks. The thing is when you want to make a product available to entre planet it needs to be stable and accessible. For instance the changes required to make a page more assesible would not be as challenging as making something perform well at scale. But both tasks have their own reason and impact. So for such tasks I prefer to see the impact it would create.
