Hi José Pablo, I have been following these series because I am implementing a similar solution for my company, and I got a working root-config and mife project with React+Vite both. Your explanation on how to use the plugin is spot on! For anyone on that same direction I still had to disable HMR to run both mife and root locally. Also, I had to add base and server origin props to the vite.config of the mife project in order to load assets and styles. Cheers from Grecia Alajuela, pura vida!

Hello, Juan Carlos Suárez Arce. I'm from Belén, Heredia. We're close! This is an article based on a now old version of the plug-in. The plug-in is already in version 0.7.0. You should no longer need server.origin as the plug-in already takes care of it. Furthermore, yes, the base you must set. Older versions of the plug-in used to set the base, but this is not the case anymore.

Finally, React HMR: It will never work as it is now. Vite's HMR implementation for React is completely incompatible with the idea of having two or more Vite servers serving React at the same time. However, Svelte HMR works ok! So, until the day Vite folks become interested in supporting this scenario, React developers are out of luck.
